I'm not to sure on how good this model is, but £194 for a 23" HD TV seems like a good deal

Hmm I'm tempted by this for my uni halls room. Any current owner of this think it's a good deal/a good TV?

Nothing hot to me.

23" not the commonest of sizes, but a cheap 22" is lot less than this, so that extra 1" is coming in as mighty dear - Goodmans is most definitely not a brand to seek out, and I would only put it in the same category as a no-name eg.

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/154995 - less than 170 quid delivered with 3 year warranty too. There may well be cheaper around, it is just one I quickly linked to!

Richer Sounds have a LG 22" 1080p Freeview LCD for an extra £6, total £199.99
Also for an extra £20, you can buy a 5 Year guarantee as well, so for £26 more than the deal posted you can get a much better tv with peace of mind for five years.
Seems like a no brainer to me

Have to agree. This is way too expensive for the size of TV it is. Goodmans is okay, however, many 22" high specification TV's can be bought for under £200.

your confusing me why are you comparing the grundig to lg, the topic is about a 23" goodmans tv fore £193.99, all im saying is for a a couple of pounds more you can get a larger screen. I never said the 26" Grundig tv is better than the 22" LG! Obviously lg is better than grundig! Besides your not exactly comparing it like for like as the LG is one inch smaller. Wouldnt you agree its better to pay £6 more and get a 26"???!!!! im just giving an example, its not like im telling everyone to buy the grundig tv from argos.

I am not comparing the grundig to the lg, i am saying the lg is a better comparison to the goodmans
how is it confusing? "computerman" should pay attention to technical aspects not just size and the lg is the only hd (not hd "ready" )screen ie it has 1080p panel resolution.
This is important as at this size many will want to use a display for an pc etc or connect their "upscaling" dvd players (only to have the tv "downscale" the pic again on the grundig)

lol i ddint see the goodmans was 1920x1080 sorry, it just said hd ready not full hd! i just read the title did not bother with the the other spec. the title should say full hd pr 1080p and not hd ready. if i knew it was 1080p i would of voted lukewarm, so i guess the lg is a better example. Maybe if it said full hd in the title it would not have gone so cold.
