FREE camping near New Forest with purchase of meal (From £1.99)
Saw this while driving past the other day so emailed for further details.
The Red Lion Inn, in Totton, on the edge of the New Forest is offering FREE camping for tents and motorhomes.
The only 'catch' is that you have to buy one meal a day from the pub to get the free camping. However, they have an extensive menu of meals, with a lot at £1.99 so it won't break the bank. (I recommend the £2.99 all day breakfast, BTW..it's massive)
The camping is in a grassed area behind the pub and it's very near to the centre of Totton so it won't be the quietest of campsites but it'd be ideal as a stop-off or maybe a base for those wanting to explore the forest.

(No toilet/shower facilities are provided and no barbecues allowed.)
