I have the 32inch and this tv is amazing, espiecially the ability to plug in a usb/harddrive and it can play almost anything you chuck at it. TV quality is amazing espiecially when connected to my ps3.

Excellent price - looking to get this TV at the moment and cheapest I've found (for TV alone) is £695 at Richer Sounds. So £55 for the 1600 isn't too bad...!

I am looking to but a flat screen at the moment, I have got it down to this or the Panasonic G10, I have seen on most reviews this set has a really nasty lag on it when playing PS3 games. Has this now been corrected with firmware update or is it something you dont notice?

Wonderful TV, but is it just me who finds the transparent plastic trim around the edges of the Samsung LCD TVs very naff?

Presuming yours has it, turn game mode on, reduces lag.

My older Samsung does and this helps.

From HDTV test, this is the figures they quote for it

17-33ms in [Game Mode] or over VGA; 85-100ms otherwise

As SimbaK2K, Game Mode will help a lot as it bypasses the 100Hz processing and the other picture enhancements.

I'd go for the G10 out of those two TV's though.
