£2.99

I thought this is a pertty good price for 4x 1000mAh AAA batteries. This is currently cheaper than their own brand AAA rechargables.

Aldi sell 4 x 2300mAh Rechargeable Ni-Mh AAA/AA batteries for £2.49, I know you can't buy them online but it's a much better deal. Lidl also sell 4 x 1800mAh Rechargeable Ni-Mh AAA/AA batteries for £2.49. Not a special at either store, pretty much always in stock.

I would respectfully suggest that the batteries you refer to at Aldi/Lidl are rated at 2300mAh/1800mAh respectively for the AA varient only.

I would guess that Aldi/Lidls versions of the AAA are unlikely to be 2300mAh/1800mAh (I'm not sure they are yet produced at this rating) but more likely to be 800/900mAh.

If there are indeed 1000mAh then I agree that would be as good a deal as the 7dayshop ones.

Wish I'd seen this before ordering their own brand ones the other day!

on another well known site, someone said the batteries were:
AA 2100mAH, AAA 800, PP3 200, C and D are a hefty 3 or 4 AH.

i bought these batteries think they are called Famart or something.

They leaked at the tops, but 7day shop sent me replacements no problems.

Thanks for the Aldi tip, just picked up 2 packs of AA!

For anyone interested, my store were charging £2.79 a pack. Also, the AAA's at my store were only 850mAh.
