Religion aside, Dawkins is a fantastic writer (and orator) and although he may be strong in his opinion, that's what makes the books so good!

For all those who aren't interested in reading Dawkins' "athiest tripe" then, if you haven't already, consider Alister McGrath's follow up to The God Delusion entitled The Dawkins Delusion. Both are good.
