i went with a similar deal for Assassins Creed a while ago
they said they ran out of the game so sent me a couple of plane tickets to dublin.

Yep, it's doubtful you'll ever get the gifts from magazine group who are a bunch of crooks frequently resorting to "bait and switch" tactics.

Many of us HUKD'ers took out subs for Mens Fitness lured by £32 worth of free Aquapower - they sent a cheap fitness book instead!

And we also had a GQ offer - and haven't even had the gift from that yet either!

Avoid Magazine Group like the plague if you are ordering due to the "free gift" as you'll probably never get it (if you do, consider yourself lucky)

£15 is incorrect, the true price is either £30 or £35. If you look at the terms and conditions closely:

Direct Debit: You enter into a Direct Debit agreement with the intention that your subscription will continue for a minimum period of 12 months, even if the frequency of payment is for a shorter period. However, you will still have the right to cancel your Direct Debit in accordance with Direct Debit Guarantee below if you so desire. If you do cancel, you will receive only the issues you have already paid for. If a gift is included as part of the subscription offer we reserve the right to request the return of the gift in the event of an early cancellation of the subscription.


The £15 is only for a biannual debit. So after 6 months you will have pay another £15 (assuming it is the same price) or possibly £20, or maybe more.

i cancelled my dd after just one issue, because i got some dublin plane tickets instead of assassins creed. no problems
