Agree entirely. Have to wet the face etc first, keep running it under hot water, and dispensing the moisturiser to stop it giving you a rash. If you dont, the shavings go everywhere as theres no way of really catching them like other shavers do, needs to be washed and cleaned and emptied after every use. Aslo need to wash your face afterwards and all the moisturiser gets washed of, otherwise it makes my face itch as shavings stay on the face a little.

Close, smooth shave if you do it right though. Best place is in the shower.

Good if you're willing to be diligent with this routine.

I must have the next model up then - it has the recharge\ refill station - because that does have a trimmer.

brought one of these just after xmas, thou only paid £29 from amazon

the gel stuff is quite good when moving from wet shave to electric, but once your skin gets used to it, i dont really see the need (i only ever just used the free one, never brought a top up (note these are about £7 at tesco))

not a good as a wet shaver, but does the job for me each morning, fast and easy
