Cold from me. The pens are more convenient, cheaper, and serve more of a purpose. These however are just plain silly.

It's just an alternative to the pen, which I have. I found the pen hard to position as it rolls around. Unless you stick it in a cup or clip it to something. This is the next cheapest and might more discrete depending on the circumstances.

Friends knicking it might be a problem though.
