Why does this keep happening

I'm on this site all the time and yet i keep not seeing SOME deals until hours later.

For example,this netbook was made hot about 12 hours ago and i was on until late last night BUT i never saw it in deals until about 15 mins ago.

This has happened to me loads of times before too with other stuff and i don't understand why,i check under the "new" tab too,so why aren't i seeing everything when its first posted as a deal,is it something to do with the customise section ?

I had my settings on NEW then when i mentioned to Sy i was missing stuff i changed it to HOT

How does one see everything then because whichever way i have my settings i seem to miss something.

Soooo i had it set to HOT and never saw the netbook deal until this morning BUT why didn't i see it when i checked the NEW tab

If my settings are set to HOT does that mean i still don't see deals in the NEW section until they are HOT

Arghhhh i'm confused,how do i see everything HOT or NOT ?

i think your best clicking on specific topic - say - comps - then all - should be able to scroll through a few hours of listed deals- i thnk

You need to check your custom settings as i think it's editing some things out..........there is a guide somewhere. I'll have a look

Set up custom as Sy suggested and still i don't see everything,this deal for example has been on nearly three days and i've only just seen it,i click on delas,new and custom,even though i've been on here daily AND numerous times today and yet i've only just seen it now,why ??

I seem to be having a similar problem with threads in Misc and Feedback. They are not listed in the most recently discussed view but when I click on the thread (if its listed in my recent activity), it appears so the thread hasn't been spammed or removed by mods.....

Yeh, I see those also. Dont make sense they are still visible. Maybe the mods are having fun with the trolls?

This issue the OP speaks about though does appear in Misc too. The "all deals" and "online deals only" is the kiddy that does it. Obviously a glitch (No deals in Misc!!!)

I used to do that before and i was still missing deals,thats why i set up a custom view,but it doesn't matter because even when i select custom,deals AND then new,which i do every time i'm on here for some strange reason i'm not seeing EVERY deal.

As i've said i won't see some deals until hours after they have been posted and people have commented on them etc even though i know i've been online and checked the deals in that timeframe somehow i'm missing them.
