Welcome to the TaxPayers Alliances EU Campaign: Stop the EU Rip-Off
In January 2009 , the TPA launched a campaign with Global Vision to highlight the cost to taxpayers and consumers of the European Union.

The actual sticker is the usual long one rather than the image I've added.

Taxpayers Alliance indeed! Which taxpayers, and what alliance? This is an organisation which is extremely good at self-promotion, but which most people know very little about.

I think its motives might need to be critically examined.

Oh, and I see the following name listed on its website:

Chris Woodhead, Former HM Chief Inspector of Schools

Cold from me too. I certainly wouldn't want to announce links with TPA in my car window. Or anywhere else for that matter.

They're not looking after the interests of ordinary people, though that's the image they like to project. If you're extremely rich you might benefit from some of their policies, but if not you'll end up paying more for things that are now free (healthcare perhaps?) so that the very wealthy and big business can pay less.

As for advertising them with a free sticker, I'd sooner shove a 'Scrap the NHS' or a 'Less tax for the Rich' sticker on the car!

Who do these people represent? Certainly not me. I am all for ridding corruption wherever I find it, be it the EU, HoC, UN or wherever, but these bunch of 'raving right' want an insular Britain for the Ultra -rich. They have a 'I'm alright, jack' attitude, nothing that remotely represents ordinary taxpayers.
