I'd get either the Asus 1005HA or the Lenovo S10-2(white M21G4UK or Black M21G3UK) both of which have a 6 cell battery, this Dell does not for the money above.

But - I just picked up two Dell Outlet Mini 10v's - same spec as OP one Black - one White - took a chance they are "Scratch&Dent" but both for £318 delivered!

...so it was you ...I got the Z520 CPU for £146

You can pick up this Dell Mini 10 specification with the same choice of colours mentioned for a total price of £248 direct from Dell. Unless I'm mistaken !

Not entirely on topic but while by no means a hot, or even good, deal the Dell website now has the mini 9 resurrected but starting at £229! Only Dell knows why or for how long. Against that price the OP's Dixon's price for the 10 seems very hot.

However, Dell also seems to have removed the Mini 10 , not 10v, from the main site (although the 10 still appears in the two day "back to school" deal area). I suspect the 11Z is about to put in an appearance.

I think you'll find big numbers like that just indicate a cancelled order from say Dixons or PC World.

Good price, but this has an awful trackpad that makes spending more money on something like a NC10 well worth up.

I've just gotten the ASUS 1005HA, and I have to agree. It's super-snappy, and I'm very pleased with it - and the battery life means that it just trumps the Dell with 3 cell battery.

The only thing that put me off the NC10 was the size of the trackpad - not heard anything bad about the Dell.

Agreed - the bottons on the dell are funny (in the trackpad), but for me useable unlike the NC10.
