I was considering these when I was looking for a new set. Saw them in Comet and they're a lot bigger than they look in the photos. Infact they just look like someone designed them 30% smaller and then enlarged them. Great deal though.

Decent speakers, been using them for a couple of years now, they are a lot taller than you'd expect and the cable between them is fairly short for speakers, but as long as you're keeping them on your desk (mine are either side of a 22" WS monitor) then you'll be fine.

Sound quality is great, useful having a headphone socket out of the RH speaker too.

Heat added as I paid twice as much for these 2 years ago!

No, they are connected with the normal stereo headphone jack thing.

2.0 means 2. for 2 speakers, .0 for no subwoofer. E.g. 5.1 is surround sound (5 speakers - 2 read, 2 front, one centre) and one subwoofer. 2.1 is two speakers + subwoofer etc...

Nice speakers, the price is good also. I paid £9.99 at Tesco Colney Hatch about a month ago...thought that could be an alternative should this deal expire.
