PS3 Singstar + Singstore Vol2 with microphones was £44 now £9 - WHSmith instore (High Wycombe)

FOUND BY: musicals 2 months, 3 weeks ago

"Inside everyone there's a Singstar" - yeah right...
But inside many WHSmiths there may be a Singstar with mics reduced to £9 - several packs still available in High Wycombe and marked with a "Was £44 Now £9" yellow sticker circle-shaped. Assistant tells me that store will no longer stock software and this is to be the case in many other branches too. Good luck folks!

I'm off to Carlisle to remonstrate with the manager...
But before I go, let me tell you, the pricing in the High Wycombe store was in complete disarray. Row upon row of coverless dvd boxed sets for £9, other shelves with prices way higher than even high-street rivals (chart cds for £16, anyone?); and a shop assistant who advised me to buy as much possible to sell on eBay. How WHSmith didn't go the way of Woollies I've no idea...

Great price but it'll be one of those Whsmith deals that no one finds...! Whsmith deals are like a game of Treasure hunt with Annika Rice, lots of running around with not much chance of a prize at the end...
