Buy any paper (such as The Sun for 20p) and get any Shell Cafe hot drink (all types, including cappacino) for just £1.00, instead of the usual price of £1.49

Their coffee and cappacino is normally £1.49, and very nice for a service station drink!

Not a great saving I know, but £1.20 is better than £1.70, and I get a coffee and paper every morning anyway. Saves me £2.50 in a week! Nice.

Good response - I now see the bloke elated at saving £2-50 a week is the OP himself (nothing wrong with that of course ) and can detect the sarcasm

It came across well, personally I wouldn't call a hot drink at a petrol station a bargain at either price.

Do you know, till now it never crossed my mind that my user name was also the name of an Essex shopping Centre. I couldn't be further from Essex, it's a far nicer lakeside than that

I feel cheapened now
