EXPIRED - Sony Ericsson C510 Black Clearance £59.95 + £10 top up @ e2save

£69.95

243°

FOUND BY: amibees 2 months, 3 weeks ago

Looks a good price, most likely to be unlocked as clearance phones generally are - requires a £10 top up from Vodaphone.
The Sony Ericsson C510 mobile phone has arrived with a beautiful and simple design, affordable to all and has the latest smile shutter technology.

Never miss a shot with the 3.2-megapixel camera with auto-focus and face detection. Back up all your pictures using the M2 memory card facility and send them to your friends via Bluetooth connectivity. Dont forget you can view all your pictures and media through the fantastic 2.2 inch QVGA scratch resistant display, complete with a motion

Just a word of warning - last clearance phone I got (a couple of weeks ago) was locked, so it isn't guaranteed.

I haven't tried it, but it seems that it might be easy to unlock the C510 for free using this website

I have seen this posted before and the feedback seemed good

I bought one off Play.com and unlocked it yesterday and debranded it. The tool above is free and very simple to use. Register, download, install the USB driver with it and then use the program and just follow the instructions. Debranding isn't too hard either - used the CDA Hack on http://www.akshayy.com/sonyericsson/...ricsson-phone/.

Cheaper than Play but sad to see that money wasted on top-up. Heat added.

Buy a brand new one for £79.99 from prepaymania or Play.com, the clearance phone might be boxed.

Normally is a re-conditioned phone. Will be almost impossible to tell the difference when comparing to a new phone.

The one I got some time ago came with the original box (although I was told it may be in a plain brown box), complete with all the original accessories.

not too sure what memory size comes with it. Great phone though, mineral glass screen keeps those scratches at bay.

I bought a Blackberry. It came the following day. However, the battery failed to work after 2 days and the staff were very nasty. He said that I could not get a refund as the money was already taken out from the account. He even phoned me back, with number withheld, to taunt me.

I regret not taking the advice of that man who wrote in and said one e2save operative told him to look at the small print warning that there might not be battery in the clearance stock.

I ask you: what's the point of buying a phone without a battery coming with it? At £82 including cashback via topcashback, the phone is not exactly free, without the battery???????

I don't deal with e2save again. Just pure nightmare and staff like these were just pathetic???
