The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter aircraft used by the Royal Air Force and many other Allied countries through the Second World War.

When Winston Churchill spoke of the few that gave so much, he was referring to the R.A.F. pilots in their Spitfires. Originally a seaplane, the Spitfire won a competition to become the R.A.F.'s number one fighter. It proved to be more than a match for the best that Germany could muster. Its kill ratio was 10 to 1 in the skies over England

Each box contains one limited edition (1 of 15,000) unassembled Revell model kit of a 1:72 Supermarine Spitfire Mk II, complete with instructions. The finished model will be approximately 125mm long with a wingspan of approximately 140mm.

1:72 Hawker Hurricane Mk I

The Hawker Hurricane is a British single-seat fighter aircraft, designed in the 1930s, that was the first operational R.A.F aircraft capable of a top speed in excess of 300 mph. The design evolved through several versions and adaptations, resulting in a series of aircraft which acted as interceptor-fighters, fighter-bombers (also called "Hurribombers"), and ground support aircraft.

Together with the Spitfire, the Hurricane was significant in enabling the Royal Air Force (RAF) to win the Battle of Britain of 1940, accounting for the majority of the RAF's air victories.
