Was looking for a board and came across this, great reviews and cheaper than a second hand one from FleaBay, with free delivery, cheaper by far for a new board that fits most prams, CHECK FOR FITTING BEFORE YOU BUY! Hope others can make use of it too.

Easy to say, other half has a mile to walk to school, with a five year old, a two year old and a fifteen week old, the middle one loves to walk, ad admires every crack in the pavementand blade of grass! challenge you to try doing that without a pram and buggy board day after day, and try and work inbetween, (this is my birthday present to her, shows i care)

i too have a buggy board as i also have over a mile walk to school with my three year old who could walk the whole way but would end up asleep half way through the session.
When i go shopping or around the town or anywhere else but school he will walk along side me and the buggy board is not used
Royals, to make a comment like that tells me that you dont have kids or if you do dont actually walk a substantial distance for one of these to be a necessity

If you have it on the pram then the option is always there! thts why i have plumbed for one, by present standards getting the eldest to school is anywhere between 30 mins and 2 hours! At least with this the option uis there, will have to invest in some heavy duty rope to help persuade him maybe tho!

haha spoilt kids because you give there little legs a rest when you have been walking ages better than putting them in the back of a car and driving everywhere,

I have a 2 week old and a 15 month old - these are great for when a double buggy is just too big. Although he cant stay on it for long in next few months my son will probably choose it over being in the buggy if he is anything like my eldest. Surely encouraging him out the buggy is a good thing?

If you have a traditional style pram these are great but on some more compact style buggies they can be too near your feet and give you back ache. I havent had a problem with this but my 6ft 3 husband does struggle with it - keeps kicking it/tripping up.

If there are lots of steps and kerbs on your regular routes then these are a pain in the proverbial. We borrowed one to try out when our second was toddling and gave it up as more trouble than it was worth.

Otherwise they have their place for some people. Most manage perfectly well without them though (and have done for years and years).

Kerbs are a pain and a danger with any pram or wheelchair, thats why the local council are oblidged by law to provide drop kerbs on every street access point, or a pedestrian crossing, its up to the user as to whether they wish to use them or be lazy of the fact. All kids should walk as much as possible, most want to, but when you are held to a time schedule with three kids, one of which who likes dawdling, then this is a better option. Another option is to use the bike, bt as we have the main Scarborough road to cross, complete with speeders and timber wagons it is tantamount to suicidal. So for us this is the best option,
