PS3 Bundle Preorder at DVD.CO.UK £539 and a possible £517.

Do these charge yer card on order or dispatch? Can't find any info on this subject. TIA!

£539? Hmm...

Look at the price of all the "Bundle" items. £98 when bought seperately on DVD.co.uk. That's 2 games and an HDMI cable.

Add to that the £425 RRP for the 60GB PS3, DVD.co.uk are charging approx £441 for the console itself. Not really a hot deal. Though Quidco sweetens it a bit I guess, but comparitively...

The play price is £525 and it includes 3 games, not the paltry 2 and an HDMI cable DVD.co.uk are offering. Even though the DVD.co.uk deal is £8 cheaper with Quidco, you're losing out on a game for an HDMI cable you can get online for a couple of quid (not an official Sony one, but it makes no difference. Digital signal is digital signal)...

I agree with what you have written but I posted the deal incase people are trying to preorder the console and don't want to be on the end of a list.

Play probably have hundreds of preorders as they were taking preorders in June 2006. DVD.CO.UK have just started taking preorders today and it's very likely you will get a console on launch.

TBH I'd personally rather have a HDMI cable than Genji. The reviews for that game do not seem very good at all and I i'd need the HDMI cable anyway.

P.S I actually preordered a PS3 from DVD.co.uk in May 2006 and used Quidco. I received the Quidco payment and then DVD.co.uk cancelled all preorders due to PS3's uncertain release date. So I'm really getting this for £500.

I placed my order (back in May 2006), before the UK street price was
