Bostik 4-pack (x 8g) glue stick £0.87 Tesco instore rather than £3.50

Glue sticks are items where quality matters, the cheap ones are good for nothing. With children going back to school, I needed to stock up. In our local Tesco (Stockport Portwood Extra) store, I found the above ( 4-pack, 8 g each) printed as half price on the pack, but going through the till at quarter of the price! There was enough stock today afternoon too. Could not find the product online.
