*The product description lists as a Wlko brand, but the product on offer instore is for a Frigidaire (this is also the case for the online offer if you zoom in on the image).

I've done a wee review of this cooker since I have one, in case anyone is considering it.

I bought this same Frigidaire slow cooker online from Wilko last year. (same price too). It looks nice and shiny, and it works very well. It has the preferred "Auto" function, that "Which?" magazine says is the best way to cook using a slow cooker. It means that it starts the cooking on the High setting, (to get it a good start and heated up well), then after an hour it switches automatically to a lower setting to continue the cooking. A LOT of slow cookers don't have the Auto setting, just low or high. The lift out pot is good heavy quality, and nice enough to put on the table. I cooked pork ribs in mine, with a home made bbq style sauce on them, and when I went to lift them out of the pot, the bones were sliding right off the meat, they were so tender. Ive had no problems with this at all but I would point out that it is VERY big. It's really too big for my house, as there are only two of us, but it would be great for a family of six or so, or people who do batch cooking/freezing.

The outside of the cooker does get hot as most do, so keep in mind that you need to have enough space to stand it with nothing around it, and to keep the cable away from the body of it.

This is a great value and nice quality slow cooker for the money, hot!

Thanks very much for giving the time to feedback on this product. I myself am looking for one for my family, and I can say with all honesty having seen this product in the flesh that it looks like a nice looking and solidly built product.
