.De Vere has breaks at Barony Castle on Monday 28th, 29th and 30th September (next week) at only £29 per night for up to 2 adults and 2 children! Be quick though as these £29 rooms are limited and there are not many left!
Its a lovely hotel and not far (bout 30 mins) from Edinburgh Zoo and Edinburgh itself.
We have stayed there loads of times on these deals. Its in a quiet village of Eddleston, just 4 miles out of Peebles itself.
The cost is £29 per night so if you went all 3 of the available nights its just £87 for up to 4 of you!!
Great for a short break to take the kids to the zoo or more suited for couples as its quiet, remote and relaxing.
You have use of the small indoor heated pool, sauna and gym, free Wi-Fi
Rooms are very nice and comfy.
For £29 per night, its a bargain. Dinner can be bought at £15 pp for a 2 course meal and breakfast at £7.50. They do however phone the local pizza shop and have a pizza delivered for you if you wish!!!
Bedrooms: 78 en suite, free high speed internet access, TV with Sky Channels, DDI Telephones, tea and coffee tray

we stayed here just before xmas when they had rooms on @ £19. This hotel/castle is fooookin marvellous, the wife and i stayed there with our 2 middle kids and it truly was awesome!! The staff are so friendly and polite. The swimming pool is great for relaxin and ideal for kids. You will not be disappointed if you book. Only down side to it is it's chuffin miles away from the m74 lol Heat & rep added  If i could get them 3 days off, I would be there myself for a chillout!! I booked them at £10 a night last year and booked 4 weekends.....totally relaxing. Its where the Scottish Ambulance Brigade hold their training days. Its got some assault courses in the grounds that they use to teambuild and our kids thought they were great fun!! Try walking the ropes and beams, etc. Really good fun and free! |

****** - just clocked this and the price is now up to £49 per night. Am off next week and this would have been great. Have also stayed here before - just a nice distance away from home and out in some beautiful countryside. Probably worth the £49 but I'd rather have paid £29. C'est la vie.  |
