Which RAM (memory Deal)?

POSTED BY: xsy77 2 months, 9 hours ago

Hi Guys need a bit of advice on RAM (memory)

http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?
cPath=777_11&products_id=103355&source=webgains&siteid=20363

or

http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=53127462A5CA7304

The crucial is around £60 and the 7day shop is £30.

Can someone tell me if i would really notice the difference for spending the extra £30?

I have a Giga-Byte GA-M61VME-S2 Motherboard if that help?

I look forward to reading ur comments.

Thanks,
Xsy

wont have ANY differnce at all unless you are overclocking, if the bus doesnt go above 1066 mhz it really doesnt matter how fast the RAM Is

though you really dont need to get ballistix, get some cheap pc2-6400 ram from a WELL KNOWN MAKE and youll be fine.

there is very little price differnce between 5300 and 6400 ram

Hi Guys!

My 3 options:

3rd place: http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/prod...s&siteid=20363

2nd place: http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/mpar...127462A5CA7304

Front Runner: http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/prod...ucts_id=103356

I will purchase today unless some1 informs me it is not compatible with my MOBO or has a better deal!

Cheers for your points.

yeah the front runner is brilliant if you want to spend a bit more you could always get some nice heatspreaders and some e-peen

those will probably allow you to over clock if your heart desires!
