Got £200 to spend on a lcd is this good value for my money, never owed a any thing by Technika is it a good brand?
Well I've recently bought the umc version of this tv and from what I understand they are made by the same people with different badging! So far I'm happy with it. Built quality is better than I expected although not amazing. Picture is very good and the DVD player is a nice touch and keeps everything compact. The speakers are very good and produce a decent sound for a small LCD. Much better than others I have heard. I got this for my girlfriends bedroom at uni. It's perfect for that and although I haven't tried the iPod function or a games console yet i'm sure they will both be fine. And you can watch videos on your iPod on the tv which is a bonus! I don't know if you will get the option with technika but the umc one I have gives me the option to pay 39.99 for an 8 year warranty! Which sounds pretty good to me! Lastly during my research into these tv's I found a few negative reviews but it just seems that sometimes you get a dodgy one from the factory which is to be expected with a cheaper brand. Anyway I think it's a great bit of kit for the price and doesn't look to bad either! Although wouldn't put this anywhere other than a bedroom or maybe a kitchen!!
