Is the DVE shown suitable for SD as well? I am hoping to get an LCD soon but will be watching SD for the forseeable future.
Also is it easy to use? I am a novice and am afraid of making things worse!
Does it work better than 'tweaking'?

yes get the combo one(diff covers) it's both sd and hd, and yes it helps a lot.
