I got this 12 piece set today in the Team Valley Sainsbury's.

It was still marked at £21.99 but there was a 75% label next to it relating to this product. I asked at customer services to check the price and it scanned at £5.49.

There was also a 16 piece white bone china set original price £39.99 with 75% off also.

There was one left at 3.30pm
checked on line and it is still full price.

Bah, these were all still full price in Stafford. They had a 'multibuy' sticker on them, that gave 15% off if you purchsed 2. I ended up buying 2 sets of the reactive glazed blue ones though, which are nice. Shame I could only get 6 mugs though :(

I guess people don't like people who buy hot deals and then sell them for a profit.

I just went into my local store and they were still scanning at £21.99.

They had the two tone ones that are on the internet in stone and black and they were £14.06 as apposed to £5.24 on the web.

Also had the blue ones that are on the web for £9.99 and these were £24.99 instore.

No deals on dining sets.

However I did get 4 tumber glasses - clear for 89p and a sandwich baking tray for 20p so did get a couple of bargains

The person on home said it was to do with the supplier of where the stuff comes from!! Sounds like rubbish to me!

Top marks to Sainsburys customer service. I emailed them on Friday or Saturday asking if there was anywhere I could locate some more cups, and they replied on Sunday morning with my nearest store that had stock and the phone number. Can't fault them

Unfortunately its a 50 mile round trip, so don't think I'll do it for 2 mugs!
