The Lion King Dvd

Anyone know where the cheapest place is to buy the lion king on dvd?

Seems to be on londonmediamall.com for £9.70 but says up to 18days for delivery so dont fancy using that site.

Any ideas? Thanks

Hi - is this the UK Region 2 Release
when did you buy this DVD as it has been out of production for a fair few years and no new releases for the next couple of years - is it one of those imports/copies.
The offical Disney release for region 2 (UK) has the holographic logo around the middle of the DVD.

Hi its the uk region 2. I bought it brand new from HMV (I think!) a few years ago. Its the 2 disk special edition. I've just checked them and the first disk has a crack on the inside. I have no idea how it happened as I always look after my disks and they have no fingerprints or scratches apart from that. I'll watch it tonight to make sure it doesn't effect the playing of the film in any way.

thanks everyone, I think i might wait for the re release then as it should make the prices come down a bit hopefully with all the shops competing. Prob will be out in time for xmas youd imagine.
Beverly thanks offering to sell your copy but id rather buy it new, hopefully someone fancies buying it tho.

I didnt like the look of it, but how mad is that - I hadnt heard of it before, I just did a google search for the lion king dvd and that came up on page 1 !! Thank goodness I didnt order

That special edition was released 31st October 2003 - think you have linked an old advert.

The Blueray is meant to be coming out 2010 (but no release date confirmed yet).
Hopefully they will release a standard DVD version at the same time.
