I was in Morrisons today to get one of the MicroSD cards that were posted on here.
I spotted they were doing their own brand batteries on BOGOF, thats 40 batteries for less than a pound!!!
Now before the 'rechargeable', 'environment', 'poor quality' brigade start ranting, I use rechargeables myself and didnt buy any, but i'm sure they will benefit some people on here.
And it's my first deal so go easy!!

Morrisons extra life batteries came top in a cost/hr test on the gadget show a while ago.

Probably same quality/factory as a top brand but a cheaper name.

Great price for decent batteries, and less face it, even if you use rechargables, short of having about 10 chargers on the go, you can never seem to have enough of these, almost everything takes AA bateries these days, and with Christmas (childrens toys) coming, this is a fantastic deal! I'll stock up tomorrow, assuming they have any left!

These batteries are actually quite good and working well in the kids WiiMotes at the moment! Just a shame I missed out on the BOGOF....

steadyeddie. Good find and I like it, when you mentioning about you are using rechargeable. Some time you need these batteries. Heat added.

well spotted...was tempted at 99p for 20 but found they were 'zinc' (not alkaline) but at 99p for 40 = EXCELLENT for Christmas for all those things that annoyingly do not come with 'batteries included' or have those nasty unknown leaking ones included! Cheers!
