Removing Threads

I posted an offer this morning for Asda Heroes and Celebrations tubs at £5 each.

Before I posted the offer I took the time and trouble to search for existing offers and saw one from two weeks previous that had obviously lapsed and this was a new offer.

My thread was deleted, no comment or notice as to why.

If you want to delete new threads at least have the courtesy to let the poster know why, or at least implement a consistent policy. My previous posting regarding Toblerones 2 for 1 for £1 (i.e. 50p each) had a new thread posted a few days later stating Asda Toblerones for 50p. When I queried it I was told it was a new offer (how exactly?).

It's the curt brush off that makes one somewhat loath to post offers on here and let's face it it's only the offers posted that keep people coming back.

youll find a lot of the time they are member spammed and not removed by the mods.....there is another thread titled "where has my thread gone" which is checked regulary by the mods and it will be returned or an answer given if you post in there

regarding the toblerone offer-they were different-originally 2 for a pound-you HAD to buy two to get the price so when the offer then changed to one for 50 pence that IS different.

dont take it so personal tho-it happens all the time-some people DO appreciate the deals that members post while a hardcore get their kicks voting good deals cold,spamming deals for absolutely no reason etc.

Sigma

As I said in my original message I had searched and was aware of the previous offer from a few weeks back, that offer had lapsed and this was a new offer (I know because I asked in the store when they were setting out the stock).

Not only that but my offer was for Heroes and Celebrations, no quality street in the store this morning.

Your thread was marked as a duplicate of the above item. There was enough member votes to remove this thread automatically. Both your items are contained within that non expired thread, so I'd say the thread was correctly marked as a duplicate.

Thanks for taking the time out to create the new listing, I know you want members to see the deal so perhaps it's worth you bumping up the other thread informing members that stocks are back in. This way members can still take advantage of your 'find'.
