Well, it's time to say goodbye to the Nikon D40.

I've upgraded to a D90 and already have a backup camera, so this is surplus to requirements.

Included in this sale is the following (boxed)...

Nikon D40 Body
AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 ED II Lens
Battery
Nikon Strap (Not Used)
Nikon PictureProject 1.7 (Not Used)
Manual
USB Cable

This camera takes SD Cards (not SDHC), but please note that none are included in this sale.

It is in great condition and was purchased in June 2007 (which makes it roughly 2 and a half years old) - pics to follow...

Hi, i'm thinking about getting Digital SLR camera for when i go travelling. Its bound to take some battering, so i don't wana take a really good 1.

I see you went to RAF Waddinton aswell...i went there back in 2006. My mate's uncle works there, so we got in for free and we went for a barbequee and a drink with the pilots (obv they didn't drink lol). Red arrow pilots were there, and we got to watch them take off from behind the runway...it was a great day!

Anyway, i'm interested and would like to offer £165 plus delivery. I can pay straight away, either bank transfer or paypal.

Tony - I always suspected this didn't? I think Nikon even had this on an FAQ (the D40X may do?).

Matt - Yeah, Waddington was great. Got some nice photos (and that was before I really got into it). Thanks for the offer, but I'm holding out for my price. I know it's worth it and they are going for a lot more on a certain auction site that shall not be named.

Is there any movement on the price yet?

Not sure how much use i'll get out of it, but it's something i would like to pick up eventually and i can't justify spending a lot on 1 even though in terms of digital slr it isn't!
