First deal, but have been researching Canon 500d for a while now and this is the one I went for after MUCH thought.

Comet sell the standard camera with kit lense for 599, but I found that their starter package is £583.98, then I used the code 10SCP which I found on here (on checkout there is a place on the top left of the page to put your code. This is a £58.00 saving on top of the supposed £115 saving for the package, Total price of £525.58 and delivery is free depending on which days you choose.

I cannot get the 10% code to work, it was fine last night, but I was umming and arring! Finally decided to order but the code doesnt work! Is anyone else having problems?

Thanks for that. I think even with just the starter pack if you buy and sell the bits you will be getting it for maybe £50 cheaper than elsewhere so still good deal
