EXPIRED - GT Aggressor 2009 - £144 Delivered @ Chainreactioncycles

£144.00

712°

FOUND BY: Toybhoy 5 months, 2 weeks ago

I've noticed that CRC has further reduced the price of the Matt Silver coloured versions of these bikes.

I doubt for this money, you would find a better bike for casual cycling and light trail use.

Previously this deal was heated over 600 degrees and that was when the price was £180!! so if you're looking for a bike, I wouldnt wait too long to order!

Ok so would you say if i had £150 to spend on a hardtail mountain bike for general use and a bit of off roading then this is as good as it gets?

a friend of mine wanted a first mountain bike so i ordered one for him and it came a few days ago, dot get me wrong calling this a mountain bike is wrong.. and really shouldnt be aloud as it would fall to pieces if you went over a mountain.. but as a bike for pottering round on its not to bad and has a lovely (if a little heavy) frame which is a good building block to replace things on as they break (which they will)

so id reccomend these to anyone who wants to ride with their kids or just wants to ride on roads canal tow paths etc.. but if you want a 'real' mountain bike you need to put a few hundred quid more on top of this ones price.. maybe more.. depends what you want the bikes for, personally i wouldnt buy a bike to take of road for under a thousand pounds as id kill it straight away

Good price for a basic bike. Keep away from those Apollo's from Halfords people!

Advice for those doubting that this is a great deal:

If you're wanting to ride rock gardens, do 6ft drop-offs or beat Steve Peat down the Alps, then don't look at bikes under £150.

If, on the other hand, you're looking for something cheap to do some light trail riding and general cycling, I'd be suprised if there's a better deal than this out there.

As said earlier, stay away from the supermarket specials - they're just junk made to 'look' like a mountain bike, without any of the basic attributes needed for even the lightest off-road use.
