Was in my local Comet to get a new vacuum and dryer and this was on offer at 1/2 price. Comes with a 6 year guarentee and seems like a bit of a monster on the power front (I have animals, I need that power). This is in-store only, this model isn't listed on teh website. i have one of this.
this was one of the worst hoover i have ever brought. it is noisy, does not suck up dust that well. been for a repair in lat 4 months. not recommended (sorry).
i have given up on this one . going in skip.....

Bought one of the other cheaply advertised priced VAX models for work on Friday with vouchers given no stock problem. They were advertised in the nationals on Friday, popular stuff, or cheap stuff, is likely to be OOS by sunday in many locations. There was stock near me when I double checked the price; I was trying to help the OP as to why the cold votes.
