Even at this price I think you're still paying at least £1 for the Nurofen branding

Its the same price, I think,as the Tesco own brand but this has the syringe plunger and special necked bottle - I have used a load of it over the last few days with a couple of sick kids.

If your child will take the generic Ibuprofen then ask GP for it on prescription or try Pharmacy First. That way it's free!

Why get something that costs less than £1 to buy on prescription-no wonder the NHS is struggling!!

Pain killing drugs for children's minor discomforts?
Make your own mind up if you think it's a wise road road to go down.

last night my one yr old was screaming his head off with a tooth coming through, he had sickness, diorrhea, nappy rash and a bloody high fever.

This stuff alternated every four hours with calpol keeps his 'minor discomfort' alot better controlled thankyou very much.

Either you dont have kids or that was a very foolish comment to make

Calpol etc can be GENUINELY life saving drugs for children. Young children CANNOT regulate their body temperature so when they get ill and get a fever that have no ability to control it that's when you HAVE to give them antipyretic drugs like these it can LITERALLY save a life.

I take it you know what happens when someone overheats thru a fever you know febrile convulsions and eventual death?

You obviously don't have kids and if you do have kids by God do I feel sorry for them if you have that attitude to HELPING them. I agree that they should not be just given for every silly thing but when you have a small child running a fever or screaming in pain you have to help them.

Please engage brain before lambasting loving parents next time, there's a good chap

Thanks very much - HOT from me. This is worth buying (rather than the cheaper brands) for the syringe alone.. so much easier than a spoon!

Aldi have a very good offer at the moment on ibuprofen. Can’t remember how much they were selling for though.
