Cheap printer, good value for a laser. Comes with a toner which prints upto 700 pages but with eco function pressed can print upto 900 sheets cant go wrong!

A ream is 500 sheets. (Actually it was 480 in "the old days"). So if this is good for two reams does that make your generic photocopy price calculation better?

Having looked around the spec for this model on ebuyer says toner lasts "up to 700 sheets" so I guess that's even worse

But anyway, it looks like these ship with starter sized toner (700 sheets/2 reams/whatever) and the proper ones that cost about £40 are good for 1500 sheets.

Still not a good buy as the cartridges are chipped. So even though you can refill tthe toner it stops printing when the page counter hits a certain amount.
I found this out to my cost after refilling with toner ( the seller claimed the printer carries on printing but with the low toner light on - it does but only till the page count is reached). There are ways round it - but frankly its not worth it - just buy a different model to current Samsungs.

Thanks for the info on the counter, I wasn't aware of that. I'd better stick with my ML1510 then. I always refill my cartridges with no problem on this model.

I have a ML2010 which I can and do refill. However I'm not that Impressed by the printer - too many paper jams for a start!
