Ps3 flash drive help

Anyone know how to play mpeg or divx files off a flash drive on a ps3 I tried but my ps3 doesn't pick them up under video; USB. Anyone please rep will be left

You need to press "triangle" and select "View All" to play the videos on the ps3 when you select video.

You need to press "triangle" and select "View All" to play the videos on the ps3 when you select video.
I found this out by accident. Real annoying.
Copy them to the HD, makes it easier once you've found them.

Display all, then scroll to a file, press triangle, then select "Copy".

or jsut create a folder on your drive called VIDEO and put files in there and they show up without the triangle bizness
