Suggestion For Mods Re: FIFA 10

with all the £25 offers over, people can now in theory sell this game for £30+, and they won't be breaking an Fs/Ft rules as it would still be below the cheapest price currently available
so what I was going to suggest is that there should be a temporary rule that anyone looking to sell this for over £25 should have to include a reciept (or invoice if bought online) in their photo to prove they're not profiteering

My Tesco's/Asda etc sold out, but I'll be ******ed if I'll pay £30+ knowing people picked up 2 copies.

Pretty much sure the admins will ask this if they claim to have bought it from Game/Gamestation or any not giving the ASDA/Tescos price, due to the knowledge of this deal.

At the end of the day the buyer has the right not to spend more then he/she wants.

You put an offer in and the the OP agrees the price or doesn't.

No need for a rule.

We have a profiteering rule in place to accomodate any existing concerns. Once p&p is added, there's little or no value in trying to flog at a price which makes profiteering sale likely.

However some may want to see a receipt for a newly purchased game in the event of any subsequent warranty claim. OP's risk loss of sales if they cannot provide.

100% agree. The mods surely have enough to do already without badgering sellers for a photo receipt. If the potential buyer isn't happy, then they should just move on. it's not like someone is trying to sell the MW2 Prestige edition on here for £200

However if the price is above the current retail price elsewhere from an established retailer, it will be pulled or the OP advised/requested to lower asking price.

I always find the FS/FT boards govern themselves, there's the RRP (the Recommended Retail Price set by the manufacturer), there's the asking price, (the sellers 'hopeful' price) and there's the HUKD price "This was £19.99 from Starbucks for an hour on day of release to all blokes named Steve... I'll offer £15... or I'll trade for my dog eared copy of Heavenly Sword..."
