ASDA have reduced the price of some Gillette products, knocking Fusion Manual and Mach3 & Mach3 Turbo down to £5 for a pack of blades.

Online and instore ... although online has £5 per packet or 2 for £14.00...offer price needs updating I think!

Seems Gillette have been getting 4000% markup!:

Agreed but its their toss advertising and celeb sponsorship that drives up the price. Personally I go for Wilkinson Sword because of Gillette Turbo Fusion Supersonic Power ridiculous names and price.

Gillette Blades are best bought off ebay,lots of fakes on there but just look at sellers feedback and you will know they are genuine ones,always buy mine from there,normally get 8 original mach3 blades for £6 which im always happy with.

Probably the dumbest post I've ever read on these bargain forums. Whomever spent (wasted) the time on the graphic needs to get out a bit more. I see it's hosted at the right-winged-Nazi-styled Daily Mail. A true business rag which would sell its soul to anyone and can only dream of being as useful as a razor.

I'm sure the word "profit" means very little when you consider Gillette's debt (credit) burden, tax bills, insurance, staff, advertising etc etc. Anyone who thinks someone's actually run off with those amounts need their head testing.

And they make great razors so they're worth every penny when you can get then at reduced cost. 20p though would be too good to be true and the company would go out of business and we'd be forced to walk about looking like people look with beards. You, know, bearded like
