Please do not confuse this with the 1005A thats been posted a lot lately, this is the really slim one.

Best price I have seen for the 1008HA especially once you take off the 5% quidco.

Slim but lesser battery life (although still quite good note). Battery is not removeable but as it's a Lithium Polymer there shouldn't be any issues with *needing* to change the battery anyway.

Be aware Windows 7 models with 250gb hard disks are due for release 22nd october and the prices are not that much more.

What prices range will the new ones be.

This is a great price for a 1008HA, but would prefer one with windows 7

This is the only pre-order I could find for this specific model http://www.expansys.com/d.aspx?i=188782 Once it's widely available I suspect the price will be at least £20 less than that though, and the price of the windows XP ones may go down to clear them out.
