Are there any advantages to having an internal blu ray drive?

Was thinking of buying similar spec machine then maybe getting external blu ray drive later on.

I guess this is another one of these Samsung "LED" cons where the screen is actually still LCD, but just has LED backlighting??

*EDIT* and it seems to be cheaper in quite a few other places e.g.:

It's not really a 'con' as there's no OLED screen or similar that's widely available so if a screen is referred to as LED then obviously it must be backlit at least for a while yet.

Hardware specs are ok but far below the best for a laptop and nothing close to a desktop, the screen resolution is absolutely dire for the size though.

can get a DELL studio 15" with a Core™ 2 Duo Processor P7350 (2.0 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB, 3 MB L2 Cache) and a RADEON HD 4570 for this price and that's before looking at the 4gb of ram and 500gb HD. I know which one I'd have and that's without any offer on it.
