Ok, this is my first deal so go easy. Last night our desktop went kaboom so while looking i came across this. I snapped it quickly as it fits the bill perfectly for us.
Its a refurbished product but comes with a full 12month warranty. I couldnt find much more info other than what Currys have provided. There is also a link on the page to read some reviews through Reevo. It comes with a DTV card, wireless keyboard and mouse.

To get at this price either use SAVE4 voucher to get 4% off or add a filler item to take total over 500 and use SAVE5 to get 5% off. And dot forget Quidco at 2.5%.

IGNORE!!! Just realised its only a 19" monitor but a much better base unit though. Plus delivery only.

thanks, we checked out the dells before orderinf. base unit is almost the same as far as i can see other than the 4gb memory. anyhow an all-in-one suited us better given the space on the table and we knew there would be a premium for it.

Just a warning about Philips PCs

Phillips don't actually MAKE PCs - they simply license their name to other companies. The nett result of this is that aftersales support, drivers and other gubbins are non-existant and as such I'd recommend you give them a WIDE berth.

I've had to write-off a couple of desktops and laptops with the Philips badge simply because I couldn't get any level of support for them, drivers were shady etc.

If you DO buy one, buy from a reputable place which will support it under the SoGA and that's not PC World/Currys etc. (who in my experience will try to dust their hands at 28 days).

Also - I generally advise avoiding "all in one" systems as they are simply harder to fix if something packs-up, they often have heat-related issues too - I'd not bother unless you REALLY REALLY need the extra space.

My problems mainly related to Phillips branded laptops which started melting their nVidia graphics chips.

Now it's a known issue for certain chips to suffer these failures - nVida acknowledge faulty batches and Dell etc. have a targetted recall/replacement programme - but I could not find ANYONE who would warranty/backup 2 much Phillips machines who clearly had this problem.

nVidia said the problem was Philips, no-one at Philips would admit to having anything to do with the PCs and referred me to the retailer - who in both cases denied responsibility as the laptops were 10/13 months old respectively and short of Trading Standards/County Court action (a bit beyond the scope of a PC Repairman) I ran out of options.

They ended up being junked - so I say again, BEWARE Phillips branded PCs

Bit irrelevant as it's clearly not aimed at gaming and so the difference between 667 and 800 RAM is undetectable anyway...

Hell it's almost undetectable on some gaming systems tbh
