EXPIRED - Ikarus Eco-7 electric R/C helicopter

Up for grabs is this Ikarus Eco 7 electric helicopter.

Bought last year as a project but never got around to doing it and now a house move forces sale.

As you can see from the pictures, the boom and tail fin needs work, is exactly as i recieved it.

Included is a Nova 6 transmitter and ikarus battery charger which needs to be connected to a regulated power supply.

Grab a bargain.

Hi,
i am based in Halifax, west yorkshire.
I can deliver/meet upto 25 miles from HX2 determined via google maps for an agreed cost beforehand.

a regulated power supply is a power supply that you connect the charger to. ebay item number: 220481781878 is an example of what you would need.

I can include a battery with this although cannot say what it is like holding a charge as have battery has not been used for a long time.

yes i believe it is although i never got around to using it. will probably need a bit of TLC (setting up and lubing any joints necessary) as has not been run for at lleast a year.
I have also got a set of training legs that i bought that i will throw into the deal

Hi im not far from halifax myself, does it fly then? I can handle a little damage just dont want to get lumbered with having to get parts to make it fly etc.

Hi Mark,
i will be honest and say that as far as i know it will fly. my initial aim was to paint it in my websites colours and fly it (once i had learnt how to that is ) although i never got around to actually starting this and as i am moving house soon i will have no time or space for it so it must go.
I see no reason at all why it would not fly as the only thing wrong with it is what is pictured.

Hi,
i removed the rotor blades (cos i didnt wanna have to chase it around and this was the safest way to try it) and tried it. Yes, the rotor turned and the servo's operated for all the motions so everything should be ok.
