Half Term is only a week and a bit away - (i know i know)

Marwell Halloween Week

Marwells Halloween Festival is FREE to all visitors, starts on Saturday 24 October and runs until Sunday 1 November. Other spooky treats in store around the park include creepy critter encounters, spooky ghost stories and freaky face painting. Halloween inspired food will also be available.

holly I think you still have to pay for entry into marwell, just the halloween bit inside is free. would love to be wrong, but pretty sure I'm not unfortunately

Link - you can't swim online - you have to go to a swimming pool
They do free swimming for kids in school hols here.

In Eastleigh, Hants we have to (or did last time i heard) fill in a form to apply for the free swimming. It seems though that the swimming centres can specify when you can gain free entry as well. At Flemming Park they insist on payment for their fun splash thingy with floats at the weekend. But as soon as that session is up then the free swimming is allowed again.
