Tesco 51 Piece Screwdriver Set - £2.39

£2.39

FOUND BY: jcooper 2 years, 9 months ago

Tesco have reduced a lot of their DIY equipment in store. I've just bought a 51 piece screwdriver set (when can you ever have too many, they always go missing!) for the fine sum of £2.39!

It includes numerous shapes and sizes including a telescopic screwdriver/pick up tool. A worthy addition to any toolbox!

They retail for £3.72 on Tesco Direct but are marked as "discontinued" in store at only £2.39.

Well I voted COLD to counter-counter balance the counter

No honestly I voted cold because these are not such the bargain they are made out to be - because you only get what you pay for

Buying tools this cheap only work when everything is rosie. One problem could be when you tighten up a plug cover the shaft of the screwdriver will break free and twist in the handle making it useless for future use. If you use another screwdriver on a rusty screw outside for example, I can guarantee the head will start to shear again making it useless. I bought a home makers pack when we first moved into the house and used the hammer supplied to remove a tuff nail - the shaft of the hammer bend like hot chocolate. After that I have always paid a little extra and bought a pukka item and it has lasted and I am still using them.

I would say 1. don't buy it for the sake that it is cheap because it will disappoint you or 2. buy it for someone else because it is completely useless and they will never admit it to you, so either way you win

thanks for this, this will do me down to the ground, perhaps you do get what you pay for , but for general use in the house, which is what i would use it for will do me, i do not have a lot of strength in my arms so no chance of breaking on me, and also my son is always swiping them and never see them again, and husband will def not let me use his.

will vote hot for you as may help some of us out, ta

Have a look though, they are dirt cheap but bear in mind you do get what you pay for with tools.
