These are very effective - even when you don't power the fan.
Ideal for using a laptop in bed where the vents would otherwise be blocked by your duvet.
It's a bit noisy if you need to use the fan but if extra cooling is neccessary, you'll have to deal with the noise.
I think I paid £20 for one about 6 months.

But a Notebook and a Laptop are the same (type of) thing. Small form notebooks are more commonly known as netbooks.

Got one of these a couple of months ago when posted at £4.99 for my son, wish I had got a couple more, they are very good at keeping the laptop cool and creating a better angle for typing.
