So if someone sends a small child or midget like mini me weighing below 26kg to rob your house this won't detect them

Great

How do they get the 26kg number? Does it just not scan at the floor level? can you just crawl under it????

I'm definitely no scientist, maybe we have some on here? But as far as I know most alarm PIRs detect the slight infra-red radiation given off by living bodies in relation to their background and I suppose the the bigger and denser the body, the stronger and wider the radiation source - I could be wrong though

Maybe someone has one already. Do they work?

26kg is light, a ten year old would weigh more than that

Never thought of that. I now have visions of teams of midget robbers doing my "pet friendly" gaff over while I'm down at the Pub

PIR are beams tranmitter around a room and when broken they activate. a Dual Tech picks up heat and movement!!! How sad am I!!!

But with this detector, if a midget dressed up as a Cat then it will definitely not go off!!!!
