Not only an excellent game, but if you already have the basic game, this is still cheaper than buying the DLCs seperately (unless you only want Broken Steel).

Just got this for my PS3 at Tesco for £24.76 or something along those lines. Not bad considering HMV want 39.99 for the same thing or on the store it works out as £6.99 a pop so £35 overall. You might as well trade in an original copy and get this on any format and you will save money it seems.

If you have not yet tried fallout as robovski says you are really missing out.

The real reason is that Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo all take a cut to counteract the heavily subsidised hardware.

not sure if it is true but I heard pc games are easier to make, I also heard xbox games are much like pc games, so if both statements are true then surely xbox games should be the same price too? :P

It kind of makes me want to buy on pc though when I see it cheaper, but I prefer console gaming (donno why, just do!)

It also annoys me when an advert for a game says "from £18" I know it's going to be only the pc version that is that cheap but I still click it anyways!

They are cheaper, as there is no commission to pay on PC games (no one company owns the platform). Simple as that really.

The makers don't need to give £10 or so each time they sell a game to microsoft/sony/nintendo so they can keep selling on the platform.

You could argue that a console is more cost effective however; if you buy a console it ususally won't be superseded by new hardware for around five years. Not so with a PC.
