Looking for a card with HDMI/DVI just to watch HD films but no gaming. Would this do or are there cheaper alternatives? Only got a 300 PSU. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

According to ATI this card needs at least a 450 watt PSU mate.

I would look at one of the lower end ATI HD cards if I were you for about £30 its all you would really need. Like you say with you having a low wattage PSU you need to check.

300W is fine in most cases.
