£68.93

Kraftwerk are one of the most influential synth bands of all time. For many years it has been impossible to get a decent collection of their music. With promo copies of this 8 disc set selling for over £300. But finally it has been released and can be ordered for just £68.93 from the hut or using the £3 off voucher £65.93.

Will probably get voted cold by the playstation generation who have never heard of kraftwerk but I hope useful for those of us who remember the 70's this is the ultimate synth collection.

Fantastic deal shame I've already got most of the albums. Voted hot.

Did you see the Synth Britannia programme of BBC4 last week, most of them mentioned the influence of Kraftwerk and one former member was interviewed.

Synth Britannia was an excellent programme, particularly as it focused on Mute Records, which IMO was the greatest record label of all time. Daniel Miller (founder of Mute and featured on the show) is a legend!
These Kraftwerk re-releases are on Mute, which for me makes this an essential purchase (despite allready owning most of these CDs).

Just noticed that there's a showing of a live concert from the Minimum Maximum 2004 tour tonight (Friday) on BBC4. Also a 'Krautrock' documentary, so should be a good nights viewing.

Also something I meant to post earlier, this album is a MUST for any Kraftwerk fan:

Cheaper now than when I bought it, it's pure genius - Autobahn is absolutely fantastic!
