5p off per litre of fuel with £50 spend at tesco

Just seen this in the paper,spend £50 in store at tesco and get 5p off per litre at the petrol pumps.I was due to do my shopping today but think i'll wait now until tomorrow

Im pretty sure that you can buy something instore for £2+ then get £50 cashback and still get the 5p off coupon as it means that you have spent more than £50 on the receipt

Ive always wondered if you actually save anything......For example put £50 of petrol in and you save £2.50 approx. But you have really made your car heavier and then burning more fuel. What do you think?  |

I know I'm a bit cynical but I can't help but think that Tesco will probably make a profit out of this because many people will forget to return with their "One free voucher" later. |
