Tesco Opticians - Free eye test / double points / low cost glasses

Just a heads up. Not so much of a deal but information worth knowing.

I needed new glasses and was putting it off because of the cost. I only use my glasses for viewing TV so was getting by with my old pair.

However..........

Tesco opticians offer a set number of free eye examinations each day, their glasses start from £20 (1 or 2 decent looking pairs in the lowest range) with lenses included in the price, and its double points on what you spend.

So I picked up a standard set of glasses for £20 all in (inc eye text, lenses and frames). Great if you need new glasess or not a regular user like me.


UPDATE
According to the Tesco website, their value range start from £15, but at the Cardiff (culverhouse cross) I visited on saturday, the lowest range was £20. So potentially even cheaper specs
